Question of the day: What is fear? Biologically, it’s the brain’s reaction to stimulus where chemicals are released that raise the heart rate. Grammatically, it’s an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain or harm. But I ask, what is fear to you? Is it the fear of heights, fear of ghosts, fear of darkness, fear of insects, fear of death, fear of falling or fear of failing? What is it? See, we all have some fears. There’s no person in this world who can be called fearless. Even the audacious soldiers have certain fears and vulnerabilities. So how do they face their fears? Now forget about the soldiers, tell me about you. What do you normally do when you’re about to face your worst fear? What will you do if you’re given a task that you’re extremely scared of?
